Information specific to your account, such as consolidation and interest rate reduction opportunities, is first sent to you during your grace period, and some options are only available in the first few months after you finish your program.  Keeping your contact info up to date helps make sure you don’t lose out on important opportunities.

If you don’t know exactly where you will be for the next several months but do know that you will be in a particular city, consider getting a personal mail box at the Post Office or from a private vendor.
